numeric address with no dots (called "DWORD" format).
Example: The google.com IP 64.233.167.99 becomes 1089054563

It can also convert either an IP address OR a domain
name into hexadecimal format, for example, google.com
becomes %67%6F%6F%67%6C%65%2E%63%6F%6D

You can use this capability to bypass some content
filters and also to prevent your network administrators
